Sewer Cleaning with Quality High-Pressure Power Washing
Sewer and drain pipes can become blocked with dirt and debris over time, and fats, oils, excrement, hair, and other residues can stick to the inside surfaces of the tube, ultimately causing a complete stoppage. Traditionally, a long and flexible cable through a blocked pipe to remove the build-up. But there is always a better way! A high-pressure power washer service from the best drain cleaner can clean a sewer pipe faster and more efficiently than a cable.
How it Works
A unique accessory called a “sewer jetter kit” is attached to a long-length pipe that connects to the pressure washer. The sewer jetter has rear-facing jets that pull the head through the pipe, and meanwhile, a forward-facing water jet removes all fragments in front of the Equipment, using high-pressure water to discharge any residue to pieces. A high-pressure power washer does not force your pipe, and it just uses the control of focused water to clean the interior area.
What Equipment should you use for Pressure Washing?
A high-quality pressure washer is essential for any application. If the sewer or drain pipe is indoors, you must select an electric pressure washer that does create exhaust gases. However, the lower flow rate of an electric pressure washer will limit the size of the tube you can clean to about 5” in diameter. You can clean with a gas-powered quality pressure washer, which will allow you to clean larger-sized pipes. Hot-water pressure washers can wash even more successfully and with lower pressure required than their ordinary counterparts. However, the hot water can harm the long pipe that connects the pressure washer to the sewer jetter, so ensure to verify the maximum temperature recommendations from the best drain cleaner.
